- Acre-foot
- A unit for measuring the volume of water, is equal to the quantity of water required to cover 1 acre to a depth of 1 foot and is equal to 43,560 cubic feet or 325,851 gallons. The term is commonly used in measuring volumes of water used or stored.
- SRP
- Salt River Project
- Flood Control
- Amount of space above conservation space that is being provided for flood control and dam safety.
- Top of Conservation Space
- SRP's storage capacity plus the cities with additional storage capacity resulting from the raising of Roosevelt Dam.
- Joint Funding Agreement
- The cost of field, maintenance, and analytical work directly related to the site is shared between the U.S. Geological Survey and the Salt River Valley Users’ Association.
